June Book Haul

Hey everyone! Welcome to my first book haul post, I've been wanting to do one of these for the longest time but it's just not something I have gotten round to amongst all my books reviews. This month has been the month for experimenting with my posts and also a great month for giveaways and spending. Oops.

In this post I have included purchases, giveaway wins and PR copies of books but I haven't included the ebooks I got this month from sources like Netgalley or we'd be here all day. Hope you enjoy!

Graduating University

As of 8:45 this morning I now know for sure that I will be graduating on July 10th and that I will be graduating with my target grade of Second Class Honours (First Division) meaning that my University experience is now over. 

For anyone just about to start university in September, I'm sorry that this post isn't all sunshine and roses, my university experience wasn't perfect but it was mine, yours might be perfect but chances are you'll be crying into your cornflakes for one reason or another during the three or four years.

I'm sad to be saying goodbye to a lot of good friends that I have made over the years, but honestly, I'm so ready to not be in education anymore that the thought of no more 9am lectures and 3x2000 word essays at the end of a semester, is like being told I've won the lottery.

My 24Hour Readathon

Hi everyone, I know I haven't done any personal posts on my blog as of yet, but this is a special occasion as I'm here to announce that myself and fellow blogger Zoe are doing a 24Hour Readathon to raise money for charity. If you want to take part all you have to do is get yourself some books and enjoy 24hours of reading, I understand not everyone will have the time to do so, but I will be posting updates on my progress here on my blog every other hour and filling the gaps with guest posts, so if anyone out there wants to write something for my blog then I encourage you to get in contact with me either via email (rebeccastobartcontact@gmail.com) or Twitter (@_rebeccastobart). SomeOne Cares work with survivors of any form of abuse, though they specialise in childhood abuse, rape and sexual assault. It's something that far too many people have experienced and for those who feel like they have so few options, SomeOne Cares are there to help men, women and children work through some of their pain.
